Race Day - Information
|
|
The Ultra Run begins at 6 am.
The 3-6 Team Relay Run begins at 6:30 am.
The 4 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:00 am.
All time are MST (Moutain Standard Time)
Registration for the Ultra Run closes on Friday, September 5, 2011.
Registration for the Ultra Relay run closes on Friday, September 5, 2011.
Runner packet’s can be picked up at the run site beginning on Friday, September 9, 2011 from noon-8 pm.
Then again on the day of race beginning at 6 am.
Registration for the Fun Run, will be available until run time, the day of run.
Lodging
Runners are welcome to pitch a tent or simply drop a simply drop a sleeping bacg
on the ground and sleep at the campground, it's free and the night sky is unbelievable.

Relay Team Member
Replacement or Exchanges Team members for relay teams may be replaced or exchanged
only if your team fee has been paid in full and must be done so, by Friday, September
5 at 6:00 pm. The new team member must sign the registration waiver for the exchange
to be valid. No replacements will be accepted after 6:00 pm on September 5.
Shuttle
Transport for Relay Teams Each relay team member is required to utilize the shuttle
service provided by the Paatuwaqatsi Committee. Runner’s name will be checked with
the Registration List before being allowed on the shuttle. Team’s will be disqualified
if they are found to deliver their team member’s to the relay points.
Timing
Because the purpose of the run is to raise awareness about water, the run is timed,
but not in any official capacity. A timer is only started at the beginning and kept
going until the final runner ends at the finish line. Individual Ultra Runner times
may be published on our website. Relay team’s may wish to arrange to time each leg
on their own. That service will not be provided by the Committee. If you do so,
you may provide that to the Committee to post on the website.
