Directions
From Winslow (68 miles)
Route 1 – From I-40 Take Exit 257 North onto Highway 87 toward Second Mesa. Once in Second Mesa, go East (or left) at the junction of Highway 264 The run site is 8 miles east from that junction, in the town of Polacca. Look for milepost 390 and run signs.
Route 2 – From State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) You will enter Winslow from the South. Once you travel under the underpass, you will reach a light at Second Street. Go East (or right) and take Second Street all the way out of town. You will see a road (left hand side only) allowing you to go to the “Flying J” gas station. Pass that road and go straight, which will take you over the Little Colorado River bridge. A couple more miles you will see another road (left hand side only), taking you over the bridge of I-40. Go north (or left) there. You are now on Highway 87 towards Second Mesa. Once in Second Mesa, go East (or left) at the junction of Highway 264. The run site is 8 miles east from that junction, in the town of Polacca. Look for milepost 390 and run signs.

From Flagstaff (100 miles total)
Route 1 – Short Cut via Leupp Take I-40 East out of Flagstaff for about 8 miles and exit at Winona (Exit ***). Go north (or left) for about 4 miles. Look for sign for Route 2/to Leupp. Make a right onto Route 2 (will pass 2Bar3 Diner on right). Take that all the way to the town of Leupp. About a mile past Leupp, there will be a sign for Kykotsmovi. Make a left onto Route 2 towards Kykotsmovi (about 52 miles). When you reach Kykotsmovi, you will get to the junction of Highway 264. Go east (or right) towards Keams Canyon. The run site is about 20 miles east of that junction in the town of Polacca. Look for milepost 390 and run signs. You will pass the Hopi Cultural Center Restaurant and Motel on this route.
Route 2 – On I-40 Via Winslow Take I-40 East towards Winslow (about 45 miles). See From Winslow – Route 1.

From Phoenix (280 miles total)

Route 1 – Easiest/Freeway Exit Phoenix Metro area via I-17 North to Flagstaff (about ** miles). Once you get to Flagstaff, get onto I-40 East, towards ABQ (Exit ***). Travel to Winslow. See From Winslow, Route 1.
Route 2 – Via Payson on Highway 87 Exit Phoenix Metro area on Loop 202. Exit at Country Club Road-North. Country Club Road becomes State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) and will take you north through the town of Payson and on to Winslow. See From Winslow-Route 2.
